PE50 Middle Scale Vdeo Matrix Switcher

PE50 is medium scable standard matrix switcher, can switch & control 1-64ch audio/video input and 1-16ch audio/video output, up to 16 keyboard controller, can control multiple front-end device including PTZ, light,alarm sensor,etc., and the system with function of alarm linkage, auto/manual record control, etc.

Control Keyboard on Front Panel

PE50 matrix switcher front panel contains key switch, grouped buttons, variable speed joystick, numeral indicator and LED display. Numeral indicator is to display number, monitor number, camera number; LED to indicate working status such as power, alarm and serial communication.

Integrated Menu Setup

Menu Setup including English operation interface, with time, date and 16pcs character; it can run on-screen menus for system program by monitor 1, keyboard on matrix or main control keyboard; 

 Monitor with Status Message Display

The number of the camera under control, camera character symbols, monitor number, time & date, switch status, alarm on, alarm trigger etc. can display.

Video Switch

PE50 matrix switcher could switch any camera image to any monitor under vertical interval, can set preset in any camera and call preset to display on any monitor, the heart of the system is a full cross-point matrix switch, PE50 be a full cross-point matrix switch of 1-64 cameras to 1-16 monitors.

 Individual Monitor Automatic Switch

User could define a camera image auto switch to any monitor at any time, dwell time of each camera image is independent, which can program individually, which can change by keyboard.

Salvo sync Switch

System could switch any multiple camera image to any designated monitors simultaneously, system can set 64 salvos sync switch, every salvo could run up to 16 cameras.

Universal tour switch

System could program 32 Universal tour switch sequence, each tour could be 32 camera image, dwell time of each camera can program individually, every camera signal could be some one preset image, in a tour may include same camera image multiple times, or multiple presets of a camera.

Camera image masking and Inserting

Masking, to jump over the camera image which don’t need to display;

Inserting, to insert and display which need to display (but don’t’ display).

Automatic Alarm Switch

PE50 could connect with PE5140 alarm unit by serial wire, which could be 1 to 255 alarm input and 1 to 255 linkage output, once alarm being triggered, system would auto switch alarm image, start preset, auxiliary switcher, recorder and alarm buzzer, and display alarm information on monitor, while alarm on, which preset to call, dwell time, preset, auxiliary switcher on/off, etc. could be set in menu.

Alarm On/Off

PE50 matrix switcher can set alarm on/off schedule by menu of alarm on/off, so system could auto run alarm on/off according to time set in menu.

Alarm mode

It has two alarm mode, Automatic and Manual, when system is in Automatic alarm mode, alarm on/off run would according to setup of menu, manual mode is valid too, When in Manual alarm mode, it’s only available by manual, auto alarm mode is invalid.

Alarm management mode

 mode 1, only camera 1 to display all existing alarm image in the system; including orderly and fix display mode;

mode 2, to display orderly alarm image by several monitor, monitor quantity could set, only fix display ;

mode 3, to display any several alarm image by any one monitor, details to refer to set of alarm sensor to monitor in alarm control set menu, which including orderly and fix display.

Alarm clearance

It including auto and manual alarm clearance, these two clearance could make system exist from alarm position and all monitor back to work status before alarm.

1.Auto clearance, system would auto clear alarm response 20 seconds after alarm remove,

Once alarm remove, after 20 second delay, alarm image would auto clear from monitor, it could catch any momentary alarm, once an alarm image remove, next one would display.

2.manual clearance, in this way, alarm images would display on corresponding monitor, which would be cleared till to keyboard login these monitor.

Audio Switch

It could be up to 64ch (to equip with PE52 audio matrix switcher) audio resource to input to equipment, system configured as a cross-point switcher up to 64ch audio resource to 1 to 16 equipment.

Alarm Response (record) Time Set

The alarm response (record) time can be set from 1 to 97 minutes.

Decoder Control

PE50 matrix switcher can transfer control signal to decoder to make it to drive l camera, pan/tilt, lens, light, rain brush and so on.

System Partition Control

In order to improve system safety and reliability, system sets partition control function, to set authority to control scope of monitor, keyboard and camera, details as followings,

Monitor-to-camera partition: to set proper monitors to display designated cameras in the system;

Keyboard-to-camera partition control: to set keyboards to call designated cameras.

Keyboard Control

System can connect up to 16 keyboards and multimedia, including with menu program main keyboard, multimedia control desktop and simple sub keyboard.

Joystick Control

Joystick can control uniform-velocity and variable-speed pan/tilt and speed dome camera. It could choose menu while system programming.

Print Out Function

To print out important data such as “open time”, “close time”, “alarm on time”, “alarm removal time” and “alarm time”.

Store

All user-programmed data and alarm stored in memory, which could store minimum of

ten years, including all inputted parameter of auto switch, alarm status parameter and record time while alarm triggered, etc.

 Impedance Switch with Video Input

All video input connect with the terminal resistance of high impedance (1k ohms) and low Impedance (75Ω)on main board of matrix case, that is every video input with two impedance, If the video input with high impedance, the core jumper must be cut off, which makes the input as high impedance (Refer to Interface Instruction for correct position). All would be set as low impedance while initialization.)
